Public Scoping Meetings for Puget Sound Nearshore Ecosystem Restoration Project

Puget Sound Nearshore Ecosystem Restoration Federal Register Notice

The public is invited to comment on the scope of issues to be addressed in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The EIS will be a joint federal National Environmental Protection Act and Washington State Environmental Protection Act (SEPA) document. There will not be a separate SEPA comment period. Four public scoping meetings will be held across western Washington. Each meeting will have an open house from 4 – 6 p.m. and formal presentation from 6 – 7 p.m.

  • Oct. 26, 2009: Highline Community College, 2400 S. 240th St., Des Moines
  • Oct. 28, 2009: The chapel at Fort Worden State Park, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend
  • Nov. 3, 2009: Lacey Community Center, in the Woodland Creek Community Park,  6729 Pacific Ave. S.E., Lacey
  • Nov. 10, 2009:  Skagit Station, 105 E. Kincaid, Mount Vernon
