Tentatively Selected Restoration Actions

PSNERP has identified 11 potential projects to advance for Congressional authorization for further design and construction activity as a partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Following development of the two conceptual design alternatives at 36 sites, PSNERP evaluated the sites using a variety of factors, including a preliminary cost-benefit analysis which resulted in the identification of 11 project sites located throughout Puget Sound. One design alternative for each site was selected and will be included as PSNERP’s first package of projects as a solution set to degradation of the Puget Sound nearshore zone.
